Illuminating the LED Revolution

Satellite was asked to design the branding and digital site for Instalite, a new Armitron backed LED lighting venture. We shied from creating technical brochureware in favor of bringing to life the benefits and superiority of LED lighting over the then dominant ‘eco lighting,’ CFL bulb. We built experiential modules that allowed users to dim lights in real time (a non feature for CFLs), see the more human color hues emitted by LEDs, and calculate energy savings, now, in real time.
